Here we have a lovely little tub chair from Sherborne. Dating to the 1970s, this funky chair features a curved back rest and a chunky padded seat.

This chair is in very good, solid and clean condition. It has been reupholstered to a good standard reusing the original cream and taupe striped boucle on the seat and inner back and a coordinating dark brown micro boucle on the outer back and below the seat. The piece is finished with hand blanket stitching in dark brown wool. There are a couple of minor marks on the cream boucle, but I decided it was just too cool a fabric to not keep some of it on the chair.

Please note that whilst I put a lot of love, time and care into my pieces, they are by no means machined perfection. They’re all done by hand and subsequently have a handmade finish. If you are looking for something that looks like it’s come from the high street, my pieces probably aren’t for you! 😉
