*Please note- matching dining table also available*

Here we have a lovely set of four dining chairs from esteemed British designer Richard Hornby. Dating to the 1960s, these super stylish chairs feature a solid afromosia/ teak frame with slatted back rest and padded seat.

These chairs are in very good, solid and clean condition, with only the odd minor mark/ knock commensurate with age and use. They have been reupholstered to a good standard using John Lewis Esher fabric in indigo- a dark navy with a silvery grey woven geometric pattern. The photos show the fabric to be quite vibrant, but it is quite muted in tone, which I thought went really nicely with the pared back simplicity of the chairs’ design. The last photo is taken from the JL website and is much more representative of the true colour. Happy to send out a fabric sample if required.

Mad and Bad Vintage

We primarily sell sympathetically restored and occasionally eccentrically reupholstered pieces of quality vintage, retro and Mid Century furniture. Throw in a bit of kitsch, some funky homeware and our frenchie Nibbler and that’s pretty much Mad & Bad Vintage on a plate 🙂
