Here we have a lovely vintage armchair. Probably dating to the early 1960s, this was made by G Plan as part of the Brandon range. It features a great splayed shape with sprung base, separate seat cushion and fixed buttoned back. The arms are a rich golden oak, and the legs are beech. This is a heavyweight, well made chair and whilst I don’t think the minty green velvet type upholstery on it is original, it’s certainly got some age to it and it has been done to a very good standard.

This chair is in very good vintage condition, with the odd very minor mark/ slight fading to the fabric- mainly on the seat cushion, which is reversible. A really comfy, low lying piece with great 60s style- perfect for any vintage loving home 🙂

Mad and Bad Vintage

We primarily sell sympathetically restored and occasionally eccentrically reupholstered pieces of quality vintage, retro and Mid Century furniture. Throw in a bit of kitsch, some funky homeware and our frenchie Nibbler and that’s pretty much Mad & Bad Vintage on a plate 🙂
