∙ Condition: In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It has the original foil label on the base which shows some wear and some surface wear.

The Ernestine factory in Salerno, Italy was founded by Ernestine Virden-Cannon and Matteo D’Agostino, her husband, in 1948. Virden-Cannon was an accomplished artist and designed the decoration for the forms her husband produced. The factory was closed following the deaths of D’Agostino in 1968 and of Virden-Cannon in 1969.
