Bernard Instone Large Silver Brooch
Hallmarked for 1963, this beautiful brooch was produced in the last year that the influential Arts & Crafts designer was involved in his company before retiring and handing over to his sons.
A rare statement brooch from the Bernard Instone company, hallmarked for the year that he retired and passed the business to his son. With a beautiful curving and flowing foliage design this brooch has Instone’s design motifs, probably designed by him as it was essayed in the year he retired.
A rare and collectable piece in excellent condition.
Measures: 57 mm / 2 1/4″ in diameter.
Marked on the reverse with ‘B.I’ and hallmarked for Birmingham 1963. Also separately marked with the B.I emblem surrounded by ‘STERLING SILVER’ and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’.
It will be posted in a new black cardboard gift box and sent by a tracked postal service.
