A Mid Century Teak Sideboard by Greaves and Thomas. 1960’s
A seemingly rare classic mid century sideboard by British manufacturers Greaves & Thomas of London. Teak (afromosia) hardwoods and teak veneers have been used to create this stunning piece of furniture.
Superb quality and construction.
This sideboard is an excellent example of early British mid century inspired design.
The unit comprises of two spacious cabinets to the left and right with adjustable shelf within. There are three good sized drawers, the top being baise lined and fitted with cutlery dividers. A drop down drinks bar provides a slide out, plastic lined tray. Overall a functional and beautiful sideboard.
In great vintage condition, the sideboard has been cleaned and waxed. Minor marks consistent with general age and use as to be expected with a piece of this age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
