1960’s Moroccan Leather Duffle Bag
Vintage 1960’s Moroccan drawstring tan leather duffle bag with six little pockets, leather stitched motifs
Such a sweet little vintage 1960’s duffle bag in tan leather which has a lovely aged patina. Most likely from Morocco/the Middle East.
The leather is lightweight and very soft – more like a calf leather.
There is an exterior pocket around the bottom half of the bag which is divided into six little sections; each bearing a pretty roundel stitched in tan, red or blue leather edged with cream leather – like little suns! So you can store your small items such as lipstick, tickets etc in these without hunting in the main compartment.
As you can see from the pictures, this well-loved bag does bear a few marks from its long life but I find that beautiful aged leather tends to bear these well. The drawstrings still have some strength but have softened over time. The good thing about this style of bag is that they’ll be a doddle to replace when they eventually reach the end of their life. You could even use a strong fabric cord or ribbon.
Measures 25cm high x 18cm diameter.

I aim to post within 2 working days though with the current COVID-19 situation this may be longer as I’m trying to limit trips out, your patience is appreciated in this matter. In order to minimise waste I recycle packaging where possible. Please be assured that your items will still be packaged with the utmost care even if they’re in a cereal box!
I try to describe my items as accurately as possible; noting any wear or damage. Please study the photos carefully as these form part of the description.I consider myself an enthusiast rather than an expert and am bound to get things wrong occasionally eg the date of an item. There is never any intention to mislead. As a lover of vintage I find it easy to overlook minor flaws; often considering them part and parcel of an item which has had a previous life and been used and loved. Indeed, in some cases these flaws make an item more desirable. If you are not sure about anything, please get in touch, I’d rather you were sure than have a disappointed customer!
